In this strangest of Super Bowl weeks, Fort Worth has ceded the role of party animal to Dallas. Most of the high-profile shindigs (Maxim, Playboy, etc.) are in Big D, but Cowtown did keep some of the coolest parties for itself.

Frigid temps and slick roads couldn't keep the crowds away from Verizon Theatre Thursday night, as the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam concert series kicked off with a partially live broadcast on VH1. (The series continues through Saturday.)
