These are a few of the questions on a personality profile that potential clients fill out for Zella Case’s matchmaking services. Answers are on a scale of 1 to 5, with one being an emphatic no and 5 being an emphatic yes.

■ Should women have as much right to propose dates to men as men to women?
■ Do you attend church regularly?
■ Does public affection disgust you?
■ Should women enter the profession of law?
■ Do you often feel just miserable?
■ Are you strongly attracted to members of the opposite sex?
