Trophy Ranch, Club Roar and High Tide will all soon be opening in the bustling West 7th corridor courtesy of the team behind the popular Trophy Room Bar & Lounge on McKinney Avenue in Uptown Dallas. The new spots will all be located in the 2800 block of Bledsoe St. near the extremely popular Whiskey Garden, which opened earlier this summer.
High Tide, which will open in October, is a small martini and shot bar that is to the right of Whiskey Garden in an 800-square--foot spot that will be similar in size to many of the one-bedroom apartments in the nearby Lofts at West 7th. A 300-gallon fish tank filled with an array of saltwater fish will be centered behind the bar and there will be glass garage doors on the side for a patio entry and exit.
The largest of the new spots is Trophy Ranch, a 4,500-square-foot space that will be to the left of the Whiskey Garden and is scheduled to open its doors in November. They have taken the same concept of Trophy Room in Dallas that has been so successful and essentially created an adult version by placing an emphasis on the chef-driven kitchen led by Chef Norman Grimm that will in all likelihood lead to a more mature atmosphere. There will also be fun and games including full-sized skee-ball, air hockey, free-throw basketball games and a mechanical bull.
"Happier Hour "will be 4-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and will feature half-priced snacks and $1 off beer, wine and cocktails. As one would expect, the new place will have nightly specials including Cheeseburger Monday featuring a complimentary cheeseburger with the purchase of a Tex's Tea (tequila, rum, vodka, gin, whiskey, Triple Sec, lemonade and Coca-Cola); Taco Tuesday with half-priced brisket tacos; Whiskey Wednesday with half-priced Jack Daniels; Thank You Thursdays where they thank their guests for coming in by extending their signature "Happier Hour" until 7 p.m.
The last of the new concepts will be Club Roar, which is expected to open in late December. The speakeasy-style club sounds like it will be a unique addition to the neighborhood as it will have a VIP aura to it as it will specialize in bottle service and only be accessible through a private entrance located in the back corner of the Trophy Ranch. Roar will feature weekly DJs and will only be open on Friday and Saturday evenings.
"We're excited to create such an amazing synergy with Emil at Whiskey Garden and Reservoir," said Nicholas Ybanez, one of the operators of the trifecta of new spots. "This is the biggest project we've done and we are working harder than ever to ensure a great experience for our guests.
"We want people to fee like they have everything they could ask for between all of the concepts," he continued. "From our mechanical bull to the Whiskey Garden's pool and our eclectic menu, we have plenty to offer and we can't wait for the people of Fort Worth to join us."
