Garber had also worked as news director at WTLV/WJXX in Jacksonville, Fla. from 2008 to 2012, leading WTLV to a 2011 regional Emmy for News Excellence. He has also wroked at stations in Columbia, S.C., and Tucson, Ariz. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he began his career as a sports producer at WTVT in Tampa, Fla., and held the same position at WFTS in Tampa and CBS-owned KPIX in San Francisco.
