Adopt me! Meet Vida

Posted 11:55am on Wednesday, Jun. 18, 2014

ID No. A22883408

Female, American pit bull terrier, 4 years old, about 45 pounds

Vida is an American Pit Bull Terrier who is just brimming with love and affection! This sweet girl has a sad past, but you would never know it by how much she adores everyone she meets. Vida arrived at the Humane Society of North Texas as a stray. Staffers found scarring on her neck from a collar that was left on for months after she had outgrown it. Despite her neglect, Vida is the friendliest dog you will ever meet. She enjoys belly rubs and giving doggy kisses. It is especially cute to watch her lean into people, seeking affection. Not only is Vida a lovebug, but she is smart, exceptionally well-behaved and walks well on a leash. Vida is also current on her vaccinations, spayed, heartworm-negative and microchipped. Can you give this sweetheart a second chance at a wonderful life? Please meet Vida at HSNT’s East Lancaster location today!

The Humane Society of North Texas is at 1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth; 363 Keller Parkway, Keller; and 9009 Benbrook Blvd./U.S. 377 S, Benbrook. It is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
