Adopt me: Meet Dobby

Posted 9:57am on Thursday, Jun. 05, 2014

ID No. 22667254

Male, Pembroke Welsh corgi and Australian cattle dog mix, 2 years old, 61 pounds

Dobby is a sweet, adorable 2-year-old corgi mix. He was surrendered when his owners moved. Poor Dobby was left behind. Nevertheless, Dobby is a happy dog with a beatific smile. He would make a wonderful family pet. Although he can be a bit shy toward strangers, Dobby warms up quickly, according to staffers at the Humane Society of North Texas. He is friendly and calm, and loves children. He also gets along great with other dogs. Dobby enjoys being scratched and will sweetly lean into you when you pet him. It makes staffers’ hearts melt. Dobby is on the heavier side, but a healthy diet and daily walks will help him quickly shed those extra pounds. One look at his cute face and puppy-dog eyes, and you will fall in love! Dobby is current on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. Please give Dobby a new lease on life and visit him at the HSNT’s Keller Regional Adoption Center (330 Rufe Snow Drive). For information, call 817-743-4716.

The Humane Society of North Texas is at 1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth; 363 Keller Parkway, Keller; and 9009 Benbrook Blvd./U.S. 377 S, Benbrook.
