If you didn’t snap up tickets for the 50th annual Academy of Country Music Awards when they went on sale this morning to the general public, you’re out of luck — for now.

According to a statement from the ACMs, the 50th anniversary edition of the awards show, which will be held at AT&T Stadium next April, sold out 70,000 tickets in 18 minutes this morning.

The two-day “Party for a Cause” event, being held in conjunction with the ACMs at Globe Life Park next door, also sold out this morning.

Apart from hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, no other artists have been confirmed for any ACM events, but the statement says participating artists will be announced at a later date.

Both events, according to a statement, are the biggest and fastest-selling in ACM history.

“We want to thank the fans for their continued support. This sale was unprecedented and far exceeded our expectations,” said Bob Romeo, CEO of the ACM, in a statement. “We’re working hard to plan more events to accommodate as many fans as we can. Country music is alive and well in North Texas!”

The statement goes on to say that those who haven’t secured tickets to any ACM events shouldn’t abandon all hope. Additional tickets may become available in the coming months, as the “staging for all ACM events becomes finalized and production kill seats open up to reveal more space in each venue,” according to the statement.

ACM “A-List” members will be the first ones notified of any new seats becoming available, and those interested can sign up at acmcountry.com for updates.
