Dress to impress

Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth hosts its fourth annual prom dress and formalwear sale Friday at the Goodwill Superstore. Featuring gently used dresses ranging in price from $8 to $25, the sale takes place 5-8 p.m., is open to the public and will also include refreshments and giveaways. 2100 Altamesa Blvd., Fort Worth, 817-551-1555.

Under the full moon

Make plans to attend the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge’s Full Moon Paddle on Friday. The monthly canoe tour takes place 7:30-10 p.m. and costs $20 per person (includes admission the center). Members pay $15. Pre-registration is required and can be done by phone or in person. Canoes, paddles and life jackets are provided.
