In the galleries: Works by Desmond Mason at Hotel ZaZa

Hotel ZaZa in Dallas is hosting an art exhibition of work by former NBA player Desmond Mason, who during a 10-year career played for Seattle, Milwaukee, Oklahoma City and Sacramento. The 22 paintings in oil, acrylic and mixed media will be on view through May 1. Mason, who grew up in Waxahachie, attended Oklahoma State University on a basketball scholarship and studied studio art.
