Earlier today, the Fort Worth Music Festival announced its initial line-up of acts for its fourth annual incarnation, as well as confirming it will once again take place at Panther Island Pavilion, outside downtown Fort Worth.
The festival, set for May 16 and 17, is being produced by Marsha Milam Music and Spune Productions, and will feature Lucinda Williams, Jimmy Eat World, the Airborne Toxic Event, Aaron Behrens and the Midnight Stroll and Justin Townes Earle.
Local acts confirmed for FWMF 2014 include Quaker City Night Hawks, Air Review, Ice Eater and Team, as well as Austin’s Uncle Lucius. More local and national acts will be announced in the coming weeks, bringing the festival’s total to 20 bands spread across two stages.
“Early bird” two-day passes are now on sale through March 28 for $32, while VIP passes can be purchased for $90. (The VIP passes include a catered meal from Chuy’s, as well as premium seating and private bathrooms.) Passes are for sale through the festival’s website.
