St. Patrick’s Day is Monday, and if you’re up for some green-tinged fun, the Metroplex awaits you.

Fort Worth and surrounding areas

Cowtown Goes Green at Stockyards Station 130 E. Exchange Ave., Fort Worth. 1-4:30pm Sat. Cattle drive at 4pm. Free pony rides, a petting zoo, contests from Radio Disney, games, live bands, gun battle re-enactments and western/Irish parade follows cattle drive. Legends of Texas will perform a gunfight inside Stockyards Station. Free admission for all activities. 817-625-9715.

St. Patrick’s Day Tri-Weekend Triathlons Keller Natatorium, 1000 Bear Creek Parkway. Saturday. Triathlon for ages 4-13; three age group courses. Wwim in natatorium, bike on a closed Bear Creek Parkway and run on Keller trails. Adult Sprint Triathlon: opens 6:15am, race 7:30am, awards 9:45am Sunday.

Proceeds benefit North Texas Food Bank. Food and live music after.
