Adopt me! Meet Bunny the Xoloitzcuintli/Chihuahua mix

Posted 10:48am on Wednesday, Mar. 05, 2014

ID No. A22137437

Female, Xoloitzcuintli/Chihuahua mix, 8 years old, 7 pounds

Bunny is a one-of-a-kind beauty. She is around 8 years old and was found as a stray and not reclaimed. Staffers at the Humane Society of North Texas think she is a Xoloitzcuintli, which are in the same type of family as Chihuahuas, as they are both Mexican dogs. However, Bunny has almost no hair. She has just a light downy covering and a spot of fluff on her chest, so she is clearly going to need to be an indoor gal and will need sunscreen for outdoors time in the sun. She has a heart of gold and just loves to give kisses and snuggles. Bunny is heartworm negative and will be spayed and microchipped when she is adopted. Please come meet this very special girl today.

The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, and 363 Keller Parkway, Keller) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
