Cooking up a storm

The Central Market Cooking School in Fort Worth is offering a “Surf N’ Turf” class Tuesday. Led by a member of the Central Market cooking staff, participants will learn the techniques needed to make recipes like steak with bearnaise sauce and butter roasted lobster tails. Free lecture at the Modern

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth welcomes the HOMECOMING! Committee to its “Tuesdays at the Modern” program. Members of the committee, a collective of local artists and creative types, will discuss the trajectory of their collaborative projects. The program begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the museum auditorium.
