Cupcakes for a cause

It’s your last chance to stop by CC’s Cupcake Heaven in Fort Worth and show your support for Rare Disease Day. CC’s will be selling two special cupcakes — the Swirly CC and the Rockin’ Cure — and all proceeds from sales of those cupcakes will go to the MdDS Foundation. The store is open noon-6 p.m. Sunday. 1956 Green Oaks Road, Fort Worth, 817-732-2993; www.cupcakesfortworth.com.

Free movie at the library

The Fort Worth Central Library invites you to attend its monthly First Sunday Film Club. Spotlighting critically acclaimed movies from a wide range of genres, the library will be screening Confidential Agent. The movie shows at 2 p.m. Sunday in the David L. Tandy Lecture Hall and is free to the public. 500 W. Third St., Fort Worth, 817-392-7701; www.wr365.org.

Remember me

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
