Adopt me! Meet Festy

Posted 12:16pm on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014

ID No. A22108851

Male, miniature Schnauzer mix, 9-11 months old, 14 pounds

Festy is an adorable and uniquely handsome Schnauzer mix who came to the Humane Society of North Texas because his owner had to move to a place that does not allow pets. She had found Festy as an abandoned, very skinny pup and took him in and cared for him. His previous owner said he is a great little companion and that he was house-trained with her, but may need a few reminders in his new home. He can be a little shy but warms up fast and loves to make new friends. HSNT staffers say Festy isn’t a big fan of vet visits, as they make him nervous, so his new family will have to be patient and understanding about that. His favorite toys are balls, and he loves to get lots of exercise and then curl up with you in the couch. Festy is heartworm-negative and will be neutered and mcirochipped once adopted. Please come see Festy at HSNT’s East Lancaster location today!

The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, and 363 Keller Parkway, Keller) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
