Family fun at Nash Farm

Nash Farm invites you to take a step back in time and explore the activities of a simpler life during Farmhouse on the Grape Vine Prairie on Saturday. Inspired by Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House on the Prairie, this month’s event will focus on how pioneers traveled, what they brought and what they left behind. The event takes place 10 a.m.-noon. There is an activity fee of $3 per person (age 3 and under free). 626 Ball St., Grapevine, 817-410-3185; www.nashfarm.org.

Dance your way to fitness

The Ella Mae Shamblee branch of the Fort Worth Library will be hosting its weekly “Zumba — Family Style!” program Saturday. A great way to get fit while having fun, the program is led by instructor Kendra Lemon and requires no dance experience. The program begins at 4 p.m. and is free to the public. 1062 Evans Ave., Fort Worth, 817-392-5580; www.wr365.org.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
