Conan O’Brien to do week of shows from Dallas

Posted 3:16pm on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014

Arlington got the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Final Four, which will take place April 5 and 7 at AT&T Stadium. Fort Worth got ESPN, which will telecast from Sundance Square from April 2-7.

And Dallas got Conan O’Brien.

The TBS late-night host will tape his March 31-April 3 shows from Dallas’ Majestic Theater as part of the run-up till the Final Four, TBS announced Friday.

This if the fourth road trip for Conan. The L.A.-based show taped a week in New York in 2011 and ia week n Chicago in 2012; last year, it taped a week in Atlanta, also during Final Four time.

At 6-foot-4, O’Brien has probably been asked a few times in his life, “Do you play basketball?” Well, there was this bit, which he did during the Atlanta week:

To attend one of the Dallas tapings, make a ticket request at starting Tuesday, Feb. 18. Guests for the shows are TBA (anyone wanna lay odds on a Mark Cuban appearance?). The Majestic is at 1925 Elm St. in downtown Dallas.

Conan airs at 10 p.m. Central Monday-Thursday on TBS.
