In the galleries: Favio Moreno at the Public Trust

Posted 12:00am on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014

Dallas-based artist Favio Moreno renders human organs as gems or crystals to signify the resilience of the human body and spirit. “The Metaphysical,” his series of small panel paintings, will be on exhibit at the Public Trust in Dallas, through March 1. Moreno, who catalogs his works under The Bodega Negra, draws from Mexican culture, Catholic iconography and contemporary design. Visit his work at www.thebodeganegra.com or the gallery at 2919-C Commerce St., Dallas, 214-282-4866, www.trustthepublic.com.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
