Calling all cowboys and cowgirls

The Ridglea branch of the Fort Worth Library invites children to attend its Reading Rodeo this Wednesday, Jan. 8. A celebration of Fort Worth’s Western heritage, the program features Western-themed activities and a stuffed animal parade. The program takes place at 4:30 p.m. and is free to the public. A wonderful Wednesday

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth hosts its monthly Wonderful Wednesday program this Wednesday, Jan. 8. Designed for young children, the program is led by a docent and includes a tour and gallery project. This month’s project will focus on the works of Mark Rothko. It’s at 4 p.m. and is free to the public. Registration is not required, but space is limited. Sign in at the information desk.
