Adopt me! Meet Coppertop

Posted 11:11am on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013

ID No. A21674448

Male, Scottish Terrier mixed breed, 18 months old, 25 pounds

Coppertop, better known by “Copper,” is a very handsome young dog. He is very, very shy in the shelter at the Humane Society of North Texas, and needs a loving family to take him home and make him feel safe and comfortable. Copper grew up in a household with his two littermates and a very sweet older woman, but sadly, his owner fell into ill health and she could only keep two of the three dogs. She loved Copper very much and was heartbroken to part with him, but knew that HSNT would try to work with Copper to find that perfect family for him. His owner says he’s very intelligent, was house-trained, and loves to play in the water and with friendly dogs and cats. He got his name because he is so full of playful energy! Copper is already neutered, heartworm-negative and vaccinated, so he is all ready to go home today. Please meet him at the HSNT’s East Lancaster location today!

The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, and 363 Keller Parkway, Keller) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
