Memorial services have been announced for Paul Willis, the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop founder and prolific restaurateur who died Dec. 11 at age 47. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Hurst.
Mr. Willis is survived by his son, Brandon Chase Willis and his mother Rhonda Watson; parents Sylvia and Benjamin Willis; sister Lee Ann Willis; brother Kelly Michael Willis and cousin Suzanne Smith.
The survivor information was not included in our original obituary. We received a note from Watson saying that for all of Mr. Willis’ business achievements -- his 16-year-old son Brandon Chase Willis was his greatest accomplishment.

PAUL MERRILL WILLIS passed on suddenly to larger life with the Lord December 11th. He was 47 years old. Next of kin survivor is son Brandon Chase Willis and his mother Rhonda Watson, his parents Sylvia and Benjamin Willis, his sister Lee Ann Willis, brother Kelly Michael Willis, and cousin Suzanne Smith.
Paul was a lifelong Christian and a creative master chef. He founded Fuzzy’s Taco Shop and more than a dozen new restaurants in the DFW area and beyond. He managed all aspects of his creations and always brought delicious food at reasonable prices to the public.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 7452 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, TX, December 28th at 11:00 AM. If desired a memorial donation may be made to Brandon Chase Willis at Chase Bank.
