Taste the Final Four beers at our Pour House party

Posted 10:10am on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013

For those who’ve been following our inaugural DFW Craft Beer Bracket – and even those new to the concept – it’s Final Four time, which also means it’s party time. For the past several weeks, we’ve been having all the fun, drinking our way through 32 of DFW’s most delicious craft brews for the inaugural DFW.com Beer Bracket.

But now it’s time for you to join the party.

Come to The Pour House, 2725 W. Seventh St. in Fort Worth this Saturday to celebrate and sample the Final Four beers in our bracket — Lakewood The Temptress, Revolver Blood & Honey, Peticolas Velvet Hammer and Community Public Ale — and make your pick for the best in the Metroplex.

A flight of all four brews will be available for only $8 all day, and any Texas beer on Pour House’s new 75-tap wall — many of which competed in our bracket — will be available for $4 pints from 2 to 5 p.m. That’s also when DFW.com will be there giving out fabulous prizes, shooting party pics and introducing you to some of the talented brewmasters and beer experts who have helped us navigate our first-ever beer bracket. Pour House will also offer half-price apps.

When you purchase your flight, you’ll get a chip to cast your vote for your favorite of these four awesome and distinct local craft beers. Each is a winner in their respective regions — Dark and Malty, Specialty, Hops, and Easy Drinking — but we want to know your favorite.

So save the date for what will be a Final Four tasting party for the ages.
