Cable network Great American Country, aka GAC, has a show called Celebrity Motor Homes, which has a pretty self-explanatory title. Among the things it will show off on this week’s episode, airing at 8 p.m. Wednesday (as in Dec. 4, as in tonight) are the John Lennon Educational Bus, a recording and production facility named after the late Beatle; and Gwen Stefani’s extravagant ride.
As you can see, the show isn’t limited to country musicians just because it airs on Great American Country. But the episode will feature one country musician: Burleson native Casey Donahew, whose career as a performer and bandleader has roots in Fort Worth Stockyards clubs such as the Thirsty Armadillo and Billy Bob’s Texas (read the whole bio here).
The synopsis for Donahew’s segment is a little skimpy: “Finally, we head to Texas where Casey Donahew proudly showcases his first-rate motor home with pistol wall fixtures and a master bath that gives the most posh hotels a run for their money!” But as you can see above, GAC provided us with plenty of photos (talk about living the Double-Wide Dream ...).
This is short notice, of course, but if you miss the 8 p.m. Dec. 4 episode, it will repeat at midnight, as well as 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11 and 6 p.m. Dec. 29 on GAC, which airs on AT&T U-verse Channel 529, Charter 266, DirecTV 326, Dish 165, Time Warner 288 and Verizon FiOS 223. (Note: The channel is not available in all cable/satellite packages or areas.)
The Casey Donahew Band will perform 10:30 p.m. Dec. 21 at Billy Bob’s Texas. For details on that, go here.
