Once upon a time

The Botanical Research Institute of Texas is hosting Bella’s story time for kids and their parents this Tuesday, Dec. 3. Led by Bella the begonia, the hourlong program will feature an interactive reading of Denise Fleming’s Time To Sleep, followed by a hands-on activity inspired by the book. Christmas comes to Hurst

The city of Hurst celebrates the start of the Christmas season this Tuesday, Dec. 3, with a huge holiday celebration. Taking place at the Hurst Conference Center, the family-friendly event will include a variety of fun activities, including a tree lighting, snow tubing, music and a fireworks show.
