Posted 12:00am on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013

It’s beginning to sound a lot like …

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents its annual seasonal pops concert, Home for the Holidays, on Saturday, Nov. 30. Featuring everyone’s favorite Christmas songs, the family-friendly concert will include an audience sing-along and snow falling inside Bass Hall. Performances are at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (and again at 2 p.m. Sunday). Tickets, $27-$85, can purchased by phone, online or at the box office. 525 Commerce St., Fort Worth. 817-665-6000; www.fwsymphony.org.

A tail waggin’ good time

The Fort Worth Central Library will host its Tail Waggin’ Tutors program Saturday, Nov. 30. Designed for kids ages 8-12 who have difficulty reading or a speech impediment or who just need practice reading aloud, the program gives kids the opportunity to read to one of the trained therapy dogs on hand. The program will be 1-3 p.m. and is free to the public. 500 W. Third St., Fort Worth. 817-392-7701; www.wr365.org
