Adopt me! Meet Buddy

Posted 5:42pm on Wednesday, Nov. 06, 2013

ID No. A21201351

Male, shih tzu/terrier mix, 5 years old, 17 pounds

Buddy found his way to the Humane Society of North Texas because his owner could not afford his care anymore. This handsome and sweet little man does need a home without small children, because he does not like having his neck or legs pulled or squeezed. His ideal owners would be either a mature single person or a couple who needs a little loyal companion. Buddy loves snuggles, walks and naps, and would do best on a good diet. He likes to sing or yodel when he wants to come inside or when you first leave, so he may do best as a house dog versus an apartment dog. Otherwise, he is a mellow, relaxed dog and fairly quiet. Buddy plays well with dogs of all ages and sizes and doesn’t mind cats. He prefers to eat dry food and likes to eat away from other pets, and he enjoys playtime with toys and belly rubs when he is not snuggled by your side in bed or on the couch. Buddy is neutered, heartworm-negative, wormed and microchipped, so he is ready to go to his forever family — all he is missing is a good day at the spa and a warm bed to call his own. Please email Amelia at amehsnt@yahoo.com to learn more or to meet him!
