’Tis the season for gifting

Bass Hall’s annual gift market, Deck the Hall, has its open house on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Located in the lobby of the performance hall, the gift market includes a selection of holiday ornaments, decor and more. It’s open to the public, 5-8 p.m.. Free lecture at the Modern

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth continues its weekly Tuesday Evenings at the Modern program on Tuesday, Nov. 5. This week’s program features a lecture by artist Yoshua Okón, whose work is featured in the exhibition “México Inside Out: Themes in Art Since 1990 .” The lecture takes place at 7 p.m. in the museum’s auditorium. Free admission tickets are available at the musuem’s information desk beginning at 5 p.m. on the day of the lecture, limit two per person. 3200 Darnell St., Fort Worth, 817-738-9215; http://themodern.org.
