BoomerJack's Grill & Bar opens in Fossil Creek

Posted 2:12pm on Sunday, Nov. 03, 2013

The latest BoomerJack's Grill & Bar has opened next door to the brand new Twin Peaks in the Fossil Creek area off Western Center Blvd. and I-35W to give North Fort Worth two brand new sports bars within mere steps of one another. Judging by the overflowing parking lots for each spot, they were both well overdue to one of the heaviest traffic areas in DFW.

The newest BoomerJack's is also the biggest of the locations and it has taken the best aspects of each spot and combined them in one place. Bedford's over-sized patio, West 7th's intimate setting that includes an indoor/outdoor bar, Lincoln Square's casual lounge atmosphere on its covered patio and the multi-level Arlington Highlands are seamlessly blended and complete with 110 flat screen TVs.

The huge outdoor patio area includes a fire pit, TVs, heaters and a plethora of cushioned chairs. There is also a covered patio area complete with a fireplace, more TVs and a pool table. For those who choose to sit inside, there is a 14x12 foot television -- the largest in any of the BoomerJack's -- that can be split into a myriad of different options such as 16 small screens or four different large screens.

The menu includes chicken wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads and soups, wraps and chicken fried steak. Some of the more popular items include Rays' Sizzling Sausage Sandwich (gourmet sausage made from ground filet mignon and pork, served on a toasted hoagie roll then topped with sauteed onions and red bell peppers), Smothered Chicken (a marinated chicken breast with grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms and Swiss cheese) and, of course, the Wings that come in Original Hot, Mild, Cajun, Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, Nuclear, Sweet Red Chile, Lemon Pepper, Caribbean Jerk or Garlic Parmesan flavors.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
