Sleepover at the zoo

Ever wonder what it’s like to explore the Fort Worth Zoo at night? Find out on Friday, Oct. 25, when you reserve your spot for the zoo’s Spooky Sleepover. An overnight experience filled with lots of spooky fun, the sleepover includes an evening tour of the zoo, a pizza dinner and several festive Hallowen crafts and actitivities. The event takes place from 6:30 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday. The cost is $45 per person (fee includes zoo admission and all food and supplies). Registration is required; reserve through the zoo’s website. Spidey powers

The East Berry branch of the Fort Worth Library invites you to bring your child to its Growing Up Wild: Spider Web Wonders program Monday, Oct. 21. Those attending the program will learn fascinating facts about spiders and the webs they weave. Recommended for ages 5-7, the program takes place at 4 p.m. and is free. 4300 E.
