Adopt me! Meet Piglet

Posted 3:05pm on Wednesday, Oct. 09, 2013

ID No. A20464457

Chihuahua mix, male, 9 years old, 8-10 pounds, neutered

Piglet is a very loving 9 1/2-year-old who came to the Humane Society of North Texas as a stray. He is a sweet little guy who loves walks, snuggles and meeting new people. He is extra adorable because his tongue doesn’t quite fit in his mouth, so he looks like he’s sticking his tongue out at you. He gets along with dogs, cats and kids of all ages and is a happy-go-lucky guy. Piglet does need some teeth cleaning and has some knee issues, but he is so full of life and love that his foster family can’t stand to see him stuck in the shelter. He is current on shots, heartworm-negative, neutered and microchipped. Since he is not at the shelter, please call the HSNT’s foster coordinator, Linda, at 817-332-4768, ext. 199, and she will get in touch with his foster family for you.

The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, and 363 Keller Parkway, Keller) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
