First look at An Artists’ Christmas

Get a first look at the artwork for the upcoming An Artists’ Christmas this Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Brownstone in Fort Worth. Guests will have the opportunity to bid early on their favorite pieces of art. The event, which will have drinks, live music and free eats, is from 6 to 10 p.m. and is open to the public. Door prizes will be given, and all proceeds from the evening benefit programs of Camp Fire First Texas. All that jazz

The Fort Worth Central Library hosts the last performance of the year for the Third Thursday Jazz Series on Thursday, Sept. 19. Titled “The Genius of Mingus,” this month’s program will feature the Paul Unger Septet as they cover the music of jazz legend Charles Mingus.
