An evening of cheese and beer

Writer and food connoisseur Janet Fletcher brings her love for cheese and craft beers to the Central Market Cooking School in Fort Worth this Wednesday, Sept. 18. Fletcher, whose book Cheese & Beer is available in stores, will lead a sampling that includes a variety of cheeses made by small American companies paired with regional craft beers. Special screening of ‘Watershed’

Arlington’s River Legacy Living Science Center will be hosting a special screening and discussion of the film Watershed this Thursday, Sept. 19. Produced by Academy Award winner Robert Redford, the film explores a new water ethic. The event takes place 7-9 p.m. and is free.
