Lecture at the Modern

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth invites you to its weekly program, Tuesdays at the Modern, this Tuesday, Sept. 17. Modern curator Andrea Karnes will be on hand to discuss the highlights and themes of the museum’s current exhibition, “México Inside Out: Themes in Art Since 1990.” The lecture begins at 7 p.m., and admission is free. Peter Pan prequel

A grown-up prequel to the children’s classic Peter Pan, the Tony Award-winning Peter and the Starcatcher opens at the AT&T Performing Arts Center this Tuesday, Sept. 17. Set in the magical realm of Neverland, the play shows how Peter Pan became the boy that never grew up. The show begins at 8 p.m. inside the Winspear Opera House, and tickets are $30-$120.
