Golden opportunity

2013 Cliburn gold medalist Vadym Kholodenko returns to Fort Worth with a concert at Bass Hall this Tuesday, Sept. 10. Opening the Cliburn Concerts season, Kholodenko’s program will include such favorites as the Mendelssohn-Rachmaninoff Scherzo from A Midsummer Night's Dream and the Tchaikovsky-Rachmaninoff Lullaby Op. 16, No. 1. Wild thing

The Parks at Arlington invites you to their monthly Kids Club program this Tuesday, Sept. 10. Called Let’s Go Wild, this month’s safari-themed program will feature singing, dancing, story time and fun activities. The event takes place from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. and is free to Kids Club members. Those who are not members may register for free the day of the program. Reservations are not required, but those attending with five or more children should call ahead.
