Posted 12:00am on Sunday, Sep. 08, 2013

Romantic getaway

Stop by the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth on Sunday, Sept. 8, for your last chance to catch a showing of Austenland. Part of the Magnolia at the Modern series, the movie stars Keri Russell as a 30-something woman whose lifelong obsession with Jane Austen leads her to a theme park based on the author’s writings. The movie will show at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. $8.50, $6.50 for museum members. Tickets can be purchased at the museum beginning 2 hours before each showing. The noon show is half-price. 3200 Darnell St., Fort Worth, 817-738-9215; http://themodern.org.

Who could ask for anything more?

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra has its last performance of “Rhapsody in Blue: An Evening With Gershwin” on Sunday, Sept. 8. The performance is 2 p.m. at Bass Hall in Fort Worth, and tickets are $27-$79. 817-665-6000; www.fwsymphony.org.
