A night with the queen

Amphibian Stage Productions presents a live broadcast of the West End production of The Audience this Wednesday, Aug. 28. Part of the National Theatre Live series, the show is being broadcast from London’s Gielgud Theatre and will star Academy Award winner Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth II. It shows at 2 and 7 p.m.; tickets are $10-$18, with discounts for Amphibian and museum members. Let the games begin

The Amon Carter Museum invites you to Trivia Night at the museum Thursday, Aug. 29. Come as a group (up to six people per team) or solo and enjoy an evening of friendly competition. Refreshments will be served and prizes awarded. The event is 6-8 p.m. and is free. For age 18 and older.
