We noted this in our post about Kidd Kraddick Kidd’s Kids Day, but it was kinda far down, so in case you missed it: The Kidd Kraddick in the Morning show will go on, according to a note titled Continuing the Legacy posted on the 106.1 KISS-FM website and other KKITM affiliate sites.
“The cast had a great meeting Thursday about the show moving forward,” the note reads in part. “They are all excited about continuing Kidd's legacy and are ready to get back on the air. Monday's show, although slightly different, is going to be funny, topical and emotional.”
The cast -- Kellie Rasberry, Big Al Mack, Jose “J-Si” Chavez, Jenna Owens and producer Shanon Murphy -- paid tribute to Kraddick, who died Jul;y 27, with an emotional show on July 29. Big Al and J-Si have made return appearances, taking listener calls, sharing their memories of Kraddick; the entire cast has done a great job under very difficult circumstances.
Although it’s still unclear whether any changes will be made to the show, the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning title will stay the same. “Kidd worked hard to build this brand, and the bottom line is that the show is Kidd Kraddick In the Morning,” the note says. “We ask that you be patient with the new version of the show and allow it some time to grow.”
