UDPATE: Voting is now closed for the play-in face-off. Check back next week to find out the results, and to see who the play-in contenders will be pitted against in Round 1 of the DFW Burger Battle.

The 2013 DFW.com Burger Battle is nearly ready for the grill -- our judges have chosen 30 of the best burger joints in North Texas to square off in an NCAA-style bracket tournament.

But before we begin the gut-busting quest for the best, two more spots in the bracket remain. And that’s where you come in. We might have missed one of your favorites, so we’re asking you to help pick the final two.

To vote your favorite into the bracket, go to Facebook.com/dfwdotcom and “like” the place you want to see in the bracket. The four with the most “likes” will face off in a play-in round. Voting ends Wednesday.

If your favorite isn’t on the list at right and didn’t make the Facebook album of contenders, tell us by tweeting us @dfwdotcom or commenting on Facebook.

Vote in the Facebook album here.

You can keep up with the battle by following the #BurgerBattleDFW tag and visiting DFW.com. Pictured are some of the “burgers on the bubble.”

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
