Adopt me! Meet Elvis

Posted 3:46pm on Tuesday, Jul. 02, 2013

ID No. A18692385

Standard dachshund/retriever mix, 3 1/2 years old, neutered, 45-50 pounds

Elvis is a very handsome and lively adult dog that came to the Humane Society of North Texas when his owner could no longer care for him. Unfortunately, the shelter didn’t get much information about his past, but staffers say he’s an affectionate and energetic guy. After several months of being at the Humane Society, he was adopted; sadly, he was soon returned because he likes to be the center of attention and would be happiest as an only pet. Elvis loves his walks and playtime, and he is already neutered, heartworm-negative, current on shots and ready to go to his new home. Elvis is available for meet and greets at the HSNT’s South Hulen location, so please come meet him and all of the other wonderful pets in need of a home.

The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, and 363 Keller Parkway, Keller) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
