Are you hot enough to be in the 2013 DFW.com Hot Issue?

Posted 11:18pm on Wednesday, Jun. 26, 2013

With the temperatures beginning to hover around the 100-degree mark, the time is nearing for the fourth annual edition of the DFW.com Hot Issue.

The Hot Issue is to DFW.com as the Swimsuit Issue is for Sports Illustrated, and it features some of the hottest people and personalities in North Texas -- everyone from local celebrities and athletes to the beautiful people who hang by the hotel pools on weekends.

This year, we're inviting you to join the fun of finding some of that sizzle.

If you think you or someone you know belongs in this year's Hot Issue, this is your chance to let us know. But first, check out the 2010, 2011, 2012 Hot Issue photo galleries to see if you have what it takes.

If that is the case, e-mail a current head shot and body shot (it does not have to be in a bikini or workout clothes, just something that shows you from head to toe) to DFWHotIssue@yahoo.com along with your contact information, a paragraph about yourself and why you belong in this year's Hot Issue.

We are taking submissions until Monday, July 22, at 6 p.m., and if selected, you will be notified by Wednesday July 24.

Until then, we'll see you at the pools, patios and parties that make DFW such a hot place to be in the summer!

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
