Adopt me! Meet ShiShi

Posted 11:15am on Wednesday, Jun. 19, 2013

ID #17015122

Schipperke/pug mix, female, 3-5 years old, spayed, 15 pounds

ShiShi, which means “little lion,” is an unusually laid-back schipperke, also believed to be mixed with a little pug. She was reluctantly returned by her owner due to an incompatibility with cats and a tendency to escape out the front door in a neighborhood with a lot of traffic. She prefers a home without cats, but is OK with them if she’s the only dog in the house. ShiShi is quiet, and likes to be in laps or on the arm of the chair next to her person. She loves walks and tug-of-war games. She loves all people and is great with children. ShiShi is housebroken, and since she is spayed and up to date on shots, you can take this sweet gal home today.

The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, and 363 Keller Parkway, Keller) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
