Taylor Swift at Cowboys Stadium
Taylor Swift, the blond bete noire of famous boyfriends everywhere, shows no signs of slowing down as she crisscrosses the country in support of her fourth studio album, Red, released last year. The record, propelled by fizzy lead single We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, has moved more than 5 million copies worldwide (to date, Swift has sold more than 22 million albums worldwide) and provided the singer-songwriter with a string of sold-out dates on her current arena tour. It’s her biggest show yet in North Texas and sure to be packed full of mothers and daughters, dressed to the nines and singing along at top volume. With Ed Sheeran, Austin Mahone and Florida Georgia Line.
6:30 p.m. Saturday. Cowboys Stadium, Arlington. Sold out.
Jambalaya Festival at Palladium Ballroom
Thanks to buzzy regional promoter ScoreMore, hip-hop fans will get one of the biggest DFW shows thus far this year when Odd Future bandmates Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt (being cheekily billed as “Earlwolf”) and Big Boi, one-half of influential rap duo Outkast, bring their left-of-center rhymes to town. With Zed’s Dead, RL Grime, AraabMuzik and G-Eazy.
5 p.m. Saturday. Palladium Ballroom, Dallas. $25-$151.75.
