Patrizio Fort Worth reopens

Posted 4:25pm on Monday, Apr. 29, 2013

Details are still sketchy, but Patrizio has reopened in the West 7th development in Fort Worth.

We put in a call after readers tipped our Bud Kennedy to the reopening, and sure enough, someone answered the phone. We’re awaiting a call back from the manager for more detail (or more referrals to other people), but the woman who answered the phone said that the restaurant reopened Friday.

That’s less than a week after reports that the restaurant had closed and that there was a “Notice of Changing Locks” sign on the door. According to CraveDFW (which notes that the restaurant has reopened), owner Ed Bailey was in the midst of renegotiating the lease when the locks were put on the door.

We’ve left messages for the restaurant manager and with Dallas-based Edward C. Bailey Enterprises, which owns Patrizio, to try to find out more. Calls to Carlyle Cypress West 7th, which posted the “Notice of Changing Locks” sign, were met with ... a busy signal.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
