Male Pekingese, 10 to 11 years old, neutered; about 10 pounds
Smokey is a handsome and unassuming senior who needs a home for his golden years. His previous owner cared for him for about six years, but recently had a stroke and could no longer give him the attention and love she knew he needed. Like many seniors, Smokey is well mannered, fairly quiet, and a very loving boy who doesn't ask for much more than a cozy bed and some snuggles. Smokey does not know he is a senior and has a lot of love and energy to share with his family and other animals. He is friendly with other dogs large and small, and with cats; he loves meeting new people, and is pretty much house- and kennel-trained. He is also neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative, so he is all ready for his forever family. Smokey's favorite activities are going for walks, curling up in a ball on the couch or in bed next to you, and giving you kisses. Please email email@example.com to meet this precious little guy!
