When most people think of the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Fair Park, they probably think of the great Texas-OU Rivalry or the Cotton Bowl Classic, but on this early spring Sunday in April, there wasn't a jersey, helmet or even a football in sight. We did see plenty of people and their dogs, or should I say dogs and their people.
Puppies in costumes, dogs chasing Frisbees, pooches relaxing in splash pools of water. The lush green grass of the Cotton Bowl field was barely visible beneath a sea of canines, running, jumping and playing. Great live music and plenty of vendors and animal organizations to explore kept us humans busy.
All in all, everyone appeared to have a doggone good time.
Please enjoy photos of this years event in the slideshow above. See you there next year.
