Posted 12:40pm on Thursday, Mar. 28, 2013

Trenton Doyle Hancock is one of the most esteemed artists to come from the area. He will be giving a lecture at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and at 11 a.m. Wednesday, he will present "Achieving the Dream: A Focus on the Arts" at the C.A. Roberson Theatre of Tarrant County College's Southeast Campus. Both talks are free.

Hancock has loaned two of his prints to the college for exhibition through April 12.

Achieving the Dream is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that more community-college students stay in school and earn a certificate or degree.

See Hancock's works at the Art Corridor Gallery, TCC Southeast Campus, 2100 Southeast Parkway, Arlington; www.tccd.edu.
