Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar fittings at Valley Ranch

Posted 3:06pm on Friday, Mar. 29, 2013

It may be the off-season in the National Football League, but the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders don't have any downtime as they are getting ready for their annual swimsuit calendar shoot. The 32 cheerleaders from the 2012 squad that will be re-auditioning will be spending 10 days in April at the Iberostar Cozumel Resort in Cozumel for the photo shoot.

Before they can make the trip to Mexico, they have to go through the process of the swimsuit fittings that took place over two days at their studio at Valley Ranch. They are using close to 400 different swimsuits from 32 designers, the most they have ever worked with on the calendar. Brands you will see in the calendar include Body Glove, Le Tarte, Sauvage, Kate Swim, Beach Candy, BECCA, Voda, Tyler Rose and Ola Vida.

For the ladies who dream of joining the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, auditions will begin with the preliminary round on May 4th at Cowboys Stadium. Audition prep classes that are specifically designed to prepare you for the entire process are currently underway. Further information and the class schedule is available here. To register online for auditions (applications are due Thursday May 2, no later than 5 p.m.), visit here.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar is annually released in November.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
