HomeGrown Music and Arts Festival announces first round of bands

Posted 11:11am on Tuesday, Mar. 19, 2013

Festival season's practically year-round in DFW these days, so as South by Southwest and 35 Denton mania subsides, word comes this morning of HomeGrown Music and Arts Festival's first round of bands.

And it's a impressive list for the downtown Dallas-based fest's fourth year: Divine Fits, which features Spoon's Britt Daniel, will headline (and make its North Texas debut) the event on May 11, joined by locals Larry G(ee), Burning Hotels, Madison King, Zhora, J Charles & the Trainrobbers and Austin's Quiet Company. The next round of acts (15 in total will perform) will be unveiled April 2.

Advance tickets are on sale now via Prekindle, and will be $25 at the gate.
