Last year, Rangers Ballpark at Arlington revamped its food offerings to the point where DFW.com did the cheekily titled The Hunger Games: Rangers Ballpark edition, in which DFW.com's staff writer/editors spent an afternoon at the Ballpark competing to see who could have the best food experience for $50 or less. I'm still mocked by my colleagues because I chose a salad for one of my courses (hey, I'd just spent the previous month eating a lot of doughnuts, and my other two Ballpark courses were pretty unhealthful).
Maybe it's time for a sequel. American Airlines Center in Dallas recently sent us a missive about its revamped menu, featuring several "Texas-inspired" dishes from mark Mabry, the executive chef for the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars at the AAC. These dishes have been around for the entire Mavs'/Stars' seasons (the latter of which was abbreviated by a strike), but it's not too late to give 'em a plug.
