This year's Fort Worth Opera Festival doesn't begin till April 20, but tickets are already on sale, so it's not to soon for Darren K. Woods, Fort Worth Opera's general director, to do a little promotion.
So on Wednesday morning, Woods appeared on WFAA/Channel 8's Good Morning Texas to talk with Fort Worth's Paige McCoy Smith about some opera myths -- and to debunk those myths, in a segment that has a few musical surprises and a generous sense of humor, as you can tell from McCoy Smith's reaction a couple of minutes in.
